Our

Philosophy

Set in a historical property dating back to the 1800s and located in the quiet fishing village of Akrotiri, Palm Tree Workshops offer serenity and tranquility in a minimalist environment. Here, you are free to focus on your work and share creative ideas. And since we keep our workshop size to a maximum of 15 participants, you can count on a personalized experience.

The artists who lead our workshops are carefully selected by Marilena Stafylidou, a professional photographer, experienced tutor, and organizer of educational workshops. Marilena, who divides her time between Santorini and Athens, where she was born and raised, seeks out accomplished artists who are passionate about sharing knowledge and inspiring others. Under her curation, the Palm Tree Workshops have become known for catalyzing new creative projects while building community, all in a warm, welcoming setting.

The Palm Tree Workshops is proud to be part of the Greek nonprofit organization ART·IN·ART, which was founded in 2019 as an open platform for the production and promotion of multi-faceted activities in art and science both in Greece and around the world.
